Wordon cheat (extended)

You have chosen to use the extended function of the WordOn Cheat. We will explain how you can best do this and give a number of examples. For example, think of displaying only certain letters, or if a complete word must appear.

In WordOn, your opponent gives you letters that you then have to use to form a word. We call these WordOns. You are not obliged to use these letters, but you will be assigned penalty points.

The goal is therefore to form a word that does contain these letters. To do this, use the option "contains word or letter". Here you enter a dash ( - ) for the different letters. If you enter the letters one after the other, only words in which these letters are also one after the other will be searched for.

Start or ending

If you prefer to determine the order or to start or end a word with a certain letter, you can use the selection box at the back of the input field. There are 4 options to choose from, these are

  1. Doesn't matter (default)
  2. At the beginning
  3. At the end
  4. At the beginning and end

put your letters in the search field (both search fields) and make your selection and you will see that the extensive WordOn Cheat shows all possible words that you can make from your letters.

Give a letter a fixed position too. Order is always important so we have also built in this function. Press “set fixed position” after you have entered your letters and then press the letter that you want to give a fixed position. You will see that the results have been adjusted.

Due to the many options and possibilities it can happen that no words are found. It usually helps to remove the fixed position of a letter and detach it.
